even google can't find anything to that term! have you got any more information to share, maybe pictures or something like other labeling fields at the display? with only eight wires, i guess one have to adress it serial, common software won't support this. D0..D3, RS, R/W, E, GND. Without more detailed information, this is purely fictious, as Falzo already mentioned.
